Ads are running on ABC, CBS and NBC in Boston, NYC, Chicago, Philadelphia and DC.
Tourism Ireland is also promoting the Wild Atlantic Way with a 1.8M EUR campaign in Britain, and advertising Ireland in metro stations in Paris, Rome, Milan and Brescia along with 13 major Italian airports.
How badly will the iffy GBP as it's existed since the Brexit referendum vote hurt Ireland tourism in 2018? Early indications are: maybe not that much. But the issue of the Ireland-NI border remains unresolved, so tourism could still go either way.
