The O'Hare-Shannon service begun in 2013 will end in 2018 because of, per United, "route’s poor financial performance."
This comes as an aftershock of United's earlier move to suspend its Newark-Shannon service for winter 2017-2018.
Maybe one of the new low-cost carriers like Norwegian or WOW will take up the slack?
