Barron will be Belfast's first business-development manager based outside NI.

He's currently living in London and has expertise in the meetings and conventions market.

Today's weak GBP makes Belfast more competitive as a meeting destination for UK businesses and organizations, vs. Eurozone cities. So this move makes a lot of sense.
