UK ONS finds that 14.1M domestic and international tourists traveled in Scotland in 2017, up 2% from 2016.
1.8M more non-UK Europeans visited, and spent 24% more than in 2016.
And although visitation from other UK countries was down 1.5%, those who came spent more.
Weak GBP, increased airline connectivity, and popularity of the Outlander TV drama series are credited.
Good for Scotland!
