Glasgow Caledonian University Professor John Lennon believes Scotland's tourism industry is "gazing over a cliff" because of rising food price inflation and a shortage of migrant workers from the EU.
Lennon says he expects to see increasing failures of tourism businesses as January, February and March progress.
He suggests that Glasgow and Edinburgh could work together to spread the benefits of tourism across central Scotland.
Does anyone in Scotland have an opinion about that? If so, please comment!
