Marriott International VP/Global Marketing - US & Canada Mandy Gill said in an interview this week that the hotel giant is focusing its marketing on bleisure travelers in spring 2022, because it's easy for people routinely working from outside the office to extend a business trip for an additional 2 days while continuing to work remotely.
Marriott is also working on strengthening local, market-specific partnerships from the corporate level as well as at the individual property level.
Comment: Given Marriott's enormous marketing resources, they're probably onto something.
