Marriott International has announced in a media release the launch of the Marriott Media Network, which is described as "an omnichannel cross-platform advertising solution for brand advertisers" in the travel vertical, to be powered by Yahoo.
The Network is intended initially to give advertisers exposure to travelers in the US and Canada via display, mobile, video, e-mail and digital out-of-home channels. Marriott says a later global rollout is also in the works, to reach the 164M members of the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program.
The Network will offer advertisers premium ad slots on Marriott's owned media channels.
