The National Restaurant Association on Monday sent a letter to Congressional leaders urging them to agree on and pass the Senate version of the $120B Restaurants Act.
The House version of the bill would limit eligibility for relief to restaurants that are not part of large chains. The Restaurant Association argues that "more than 500,000 restaurants of every business type" are in "an unprecedented economic decline."
The Restaurant Association is also advocating a second draw from the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) "strengthened to reflect the restaurant industry's unique business model."
