Although TripAdvisor travel reviews continue to be popular - 455M visits/month - and restaurant and attractions business remained strong, their hotel search and booking business seems to be in deep trouble.

In 3Q2017 hotel ad spend, total hotel revenues, revenue per hotel shopper and TripAdvisor share price were all down.

Poor usability of TripAdvisor.com may be at the root of this problem.
