Standard & Poors has released a report saying that the Zika virus has done or will do "inevitable" harm to tourism in the Miami/Dade County region of Florida.
Tourists are an important source of hotel and sales tax revenues for Miami-Dade.
For now S&P has maintained Miami-Dade's AA credit rating and stable outlook, but said that it's too early to say whether bond rating will be adversely affected.
Quoting from the S&P report:
"The real question is not if Zika will affect tourism and related revenues, but by how much."
