Reasoning is that CSO stats show that visits to NI for holidays priced in (weak) GBP from the eurozone Republic are up 35%, making Ireland the fastest-growing source market for NI tourism. And NI tourism provides 60,000 jobs which any kind of "hard" border would put in jeopardy.
