The SA Airlink service from Johannesburg via Windhoek is the first-ever scheduled service to remote St. Helena Island - site of Napoleon Bonaparte's exile in 1815.
The St. Helena Tourism Web site promises both land- and ocean-based tours and excursions.
The video is old (2011) but seems to give a good overview of St. Helena as a tourist destination - looks interesting.
Loganair's new 3/week flights from Durham Tees Valley to Aberdeen will probably mainly carry oil-business travelers. But codeshare with bmi regional provides connections to Orkney, Denmark and Norway, which might see some tourism traffic.
