Insurers NFU Mutual have polled hospitality and tourism business people as to what keeps them awake at night.
45% cited the possibility of skills shortages post-Brexit, and 47% mentioned the related political and economic instability.
NFU Mutual has now published a Recruitment Guide for these industries.
I'm afraid that doesn't get at the root of the problem: the UK is about to become an unfriendly place for foreign workers, especially the low-skilled ones who clean hotel rooms and wait on tables.
That shouldn't be allowed to happen - it's a losing proposition for all involved.
