ONS "provisional results" for August 2017 show 3.9M inbound visits (+5% vs. August 2016) and spend of 2.8B GBP (+3%).
However:
"UK residents consistently make more visits abroad than foreign residents make to the UK. The total amount spent by UK residents during visits abroad is also higher than the total spent by foreign residents visiting the UK."
Looks like the weak GBP continues to help UK inbound international tourism, but doesn't deter Brits from traveling and spending abroad.
That's good for the UK as well as popular outbound destinations like Spain.
