The 3-day summit brought together 100+ business leaders from tourism, education and the creative sector in the 2 countries.

Use of technology to facilitate NI-China links was a focus of the meeting.

So far,most mainland Chinese who have visited Ireland or NI have done so as a minor side-trip of a package tour primarily focused on London and other destinations in England.

Maybe this initiative will result in more direct FIT visits to NI from China.
