Disagreement over how to deal with the Ireland-NI border was finally resolved - sort of - this week at the 11th hour, following discussions between Theresa May and Arlene Foster.
But UK Brexit Secretary David Davis has since seemed to be backpedaling on the border issue, much to the frustration of Dr. Leo Varadkar.
And an unnamed EU official has been quoted as saying that the way in which the border issue has been addressed is a "fudge" that puts off a meaningful resolution until later.
An open border is critical for the tourism industry of the Island of Ireland.
More on this next week, I'm sure.
