DHS announces 15,000 additional H-2B visas for 2018

Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen has announced that an additional 15,000 H-2B visas will be available for FY 2018 on account of there being too few qualified US workers available to fill temporary non-agricultural jobs.

Starting this week, eligible petitioners for H-2B visas can file Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker.
