CEO Brad Dean announced on 13 July 2018 that the former Puerto Rico Destination Marketing Organization will now be known as Discover Puerto Rico, and be responsible for marketing the island to leisure and business travelers.
The Puerto Rico Tourism Company - in the past responsible for marketing - will now handle development and management of the island's tourism product, including access, itineraries and hotel partnerships.
To add to the confusion, Discover Puerto Rico's web domain is SeePuertoRico.com.
Group A designs products and Group B markets them? I'm afraid that looks to me like a recipe for paralysis and finger-pointing. Hope I'm wrong.
