The Canadian Government, via the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, is to provide a $24.9K grant to PEI's Central Coastal Tourism Partnership to be used to provide strategic marketing and product development for its members. Longer stays and more off-season stays are among the objectives of the initiative.
About 100 small and medium-sized PEI rural tourism businesses are members of the Tourism Partnership.
Tourists spent $447M in PEI in 2017.
