Per figures released yesterday by the US National Travel & Tourism Office, despite international inbound visits being up slightly overall, visitation to the USA from Mexico declined by 6.1% vs. 2016, and that from the Middle East declined by 12%.

Critics of the Trump administration attribute these declines to a perception of the USA as "unwelcoming."
