Irish national tourism development authority Failte Ireland is rumored to be considering having its headquarters building at 88-95 Amiens Street, North Dock, Dublin 1 redeveloped into what would be the country's largest hotel with 800+ rooms.

Last year the agency projected that because of growth in inbound tourism there will be a Dublin hotel capacity shortfall of 1100 or more rooms in 2020.
