Airbnb reports 295,000 guest arrivals to Maine in summer 2019

In a media release Airbnb has announced that its 12,000 Maine properties hosted 295,000 guests between Memorial Day and Labor Day in 2019.

During that period, hosts took in an average of $111 per night for a total of $55.7M, up from $40M in 2018.

Top Maine destinations for Airbnb guests were Portland, Old Orchard Beach, Bar Harbor, Wells and Ellsworth.

Top source markets included Boston, NYC, Montreal, Philadelphia and Portland.
