New for 2020 in the Michelin Guides for Europe is the cloverleaf icon (as above) that's available to chefs whose restaurants have the Plate or Bib Gourmand distinctions or 1, 2 or 3 stars.

Restaurants in the new Sustainable Gastronomy selection are marked with the green clover symbol and feature a quote from its chef on the restaurant page. For other restaurants taking smaller steps to work in a greener way, there are short descriptions on their initiatives.
