The Ocean City Tourism Development Commission has approved a total 2021 tourism budget of $620K of which $563K will be spent on marketing:
- Digital: $224K
- TV: $200K
- Out-of-home (billboards): $40K
- Also print, direct mail, contests and giveaways
Philadelphia is Ocean City's #1 tourism source market.
So far in 2020, Ocean City real estate sales have been booming, but rentals are down.
Retail had a good fall after reopening in September
Some restaurants are closed, but those doing takeout are doing well.
