World Travel Market Ministers' Summit in London 6 November 2024

WTM Ministers' Summit 2024 to address impact of AI on tourism

At this event - to be held in London 6 November 2024 - world tourism ministers and representatives of UNWTO and WTTC, along with 50 tourism-industry leaders and dignitaries from around the world will be discussing the transformative impact of AI and other emerging technologies on the tourism sector.

Topics to be addressed will include:

  • how new technologies will shape the future of travel and hospitality
  • the ethical considerations arising from their adoption.
  • the importance of equitable access to AI technology, to prevent the widening of socio-economic gaps
  • strategies to bridge the digital divide

Talks will be moderated by a BBC journalist.
