Posted 02 November 2017: Conference Board reports consumer confidence level of 125.9 in October 2017, driven primarily by optimism about improving business conditions. 63.5% of Americans also said they're planning travel - vs. only 33% at the height of the 2009 recession. This makes Americans the obvious target of choice for tourism destinations, domestic and international, in 2018. |
