1200 new hotel rooms added since 2013 and 350 more on the way are keeping Portland-area occupancy rates relatively flat at a year-round average of around 60%.

In 2017, average daily rate was $130 and RevPAR $77.50. Both are expected to grow by 2-3% in 2018.

Airbnb is expected to remain an ongoing problem for hoteliers.
