In a new edition of its American Travel Sentiment Study, Longwoods International reports that 21% of respondents said they plan to travel more in the US in 2025, and 8% said they plan to travel more internationally, because of the results of the 2024 presidential election. Only 8% said they will travel less domestically, and 3% less internationally.
43% said they believe they will be better off in the next 4 years than they are now.
But 31% said they still have concerns about inflation in the next 6 months.
Survey sample consisted of 1,000 US consumers aged 18 years and older, matching census targets for age, gender and region.
