Search numbers for all-inclusive and half-board holidays and cruises are up, as are searches for 4- and 5-star hotels.
So people are looking for luxury at bargain prices.
Most-searched destinations at Kayak so far in January have been:
1) New York
2) Amsterdam
3) Bangkok
4) London
5) Orlando
6) Paris
7) Sydney
8) Barcelona
9) Tokyo
10) Malaga
Suppliers at those destinations who can offer a product with luxury features but at a reasonable price and with very good value should be competitive in the UK early-booking market this year.
