Air Canada has announced that it intends to begin offering service between Munich (MUC) and Toronto (YYZ) as soon as the Canadian government reopens its borders to international visitors other than Americans, which is expected to happen on 7 September 2021.
Connecting flights to cities across Canada and the US will be available at Air Canada's Toronto hub.
The MUC-YYZ service is expected to operate up to 3 times a week using a Boeing 787-9 aircraft with choice of Signature, Premium Economy or Economy classes.
Eligible inbound passengers will be foreign nationals who have been fully vaccinated with the Moderna, Pfizer, AstraZeneca or Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to departure, and who meet other, specific entry requirements.
