The Northern New England Passenger Rail Authority has announced that because they've been unable to finalize agreements with Maine DOT and the Central Maine and Quebec Railway - which leases part of the route from DOT for freight service - for use of track beyond Brunswick, there will be no Amtrak Brunswick-Rockland passenger service once again in summer 2019.
