Following a speech last week by Ireland Taoiseach Dr. Leo Varadkar in which he said "planes will not fly" from the UK into Ireland in the event of a "hard" Brexit, the Irish Aviation Authority said in a statement that without an agreement providing for an orderly withdrawal of the UK from the EU, "There would need to be a new agreement in place to maintain the existing level of connectivity between Europe and the UK.”
