In an attempt to recover from the 50% 2021 YTD decrease in passenger volume vs. 2019, the Portland Jetport is mounting a $100K marketing campaign to attract more visitors.
Ads will run on TV and radio, and also on digital platforms in collaboration with the Maine Office of Tourism.
Airport officials expect passenger numbers to return to 2019 levels by Memorial Day weekend or early June, primarily from leisure travel.
