Campaign highlights direct flights to Shannon Airport offered by Aer Lingus and United from Boston, New York and Chicago.
A 30-second video of spectacular WAW scenery is being shared on YouTube and Facebook and on popular media websites in the US.
Other media used include:
- Ads on digital and social media platforms
- Partnering with travel deals websites to offer WAW packages
- Co-op promotions with United on direct flights to Shannon from Newark and Chicago
- Competition for a trip for 2 to WAW on Matador Network
- New WAW page on Ireland.com
The campaign highlights Shannon as the gateway to the WAW and is intended to drive bookings to this part of Ireland.
Campaign will run through June and is expected to get around 70M impressions and produce 258,000 referrals to tourism businesses.
